With an all round creative ability which was of great benefit to our company, Jonathan had a hand in every level from conception to completion. He was easy to work with and very much a team player so would be an asset to any company.

Our paths crossed a few years back whilst we were both designers at Graphica. Jon was the point of contact for all clients multimedia briefs, a position that gave him scope to provide creative design solutions using his design / artistic background. We worked on a number of projects together for small to mid sized companies, and during our time at Graphica became good friends outside of work. I also helped him pull his car out of a ditch one winters evening when he hit some ice and did a 360 into a farmers field.

Jonathan is an excellent web and multimedia designer and he worked on a series of freelance assignments for me. He was unfailingly friendly, professional and helpful, despite difficult negotiations. I had nothing but positive feedback regarding the quality of his work, his work ethic and his attitude. I would recommend him highly.

Jonathan was brought in to help out at very short notice, and credit to him, was able to do a fantastic job hitting the ground running. The feedback from Informa was fantastic on his quality of work and attitude and I will continue to recommend his services to my clients.

Working with the latest CSS guidelines I create sites that are accessible and user friendly. I often use bootstrap but quite often write CSS from scratch that is responsive and cross-browser. With RES I was active in getting the brand consistent, and have written a small booklet for technical to use.
It's the backbone of the internet, and I work with static HTML5 to make my sites as streamlined as possible.
I also work with CMS systems like WordPress and Umbraco.
As a cost cutting exercise, RES started to film all interviews in-house. and I worked out how to get similar looks from after effects in Premiere Pro in regard to text transitions. This became a keystone to building the department.
I'm a friendly, client-facing digital designer and content provider with strong CSS, HTML and video editing capabilities, currently providing digital content and website build for Renewable Energy Systems.
My home is in the Cotswolds, next to a wood on the side of a hill, shared with my family and a black cat that ignores me unless he's hungry. I really appreciate being able to look out of the window and see green, not tower blocks, and try to get outdoors daily for fresh air and exercise. I'm also an avid bushcrafter and have spent several years learning about the environment and how this is changing.
Evenings and weekends are usually spent tinkering in the shed, outdoors, playing playstation or sitting with a decent book.
Video editor and front-end developer. Working with Adobe Creative Suite and Visual Studio to work within and evolve the brand, creating external and internal media as part of a small communications team. This includes producing and editing videos from a script, cleaning up audio, continual development on the main company website and co-ordinating with the IT department to troubleshoot issues on the server and moving the technology up to a more modern level. In part this is ensuring the main website is secure (pushing certification and moving to an Azure platform), ensuring the brand is consistent, and advising for substandard content across the company, as well as building up the video production from initially being shot on mobile phones to professional dedicated equipment including autocues and studio lighting. I talked to everyone who used the CMS to see what annoyed them about the site, and after a lot of discussion eith management, agreed a soft relaunch, stripping back the sheer bulk of information and applying the simplified brand.
Initially employed as a web designer at RES. Using my previous knowledge of animation, and learning templating for the Umbraco CMS, it expanded into more of a multimedia role. I also lobbied to get the company site upgraded to HTTPS, and started working with the graphic designer to tidy up the brand, using simple things like converting the logo to SVG for the web, and bringing the colours back to a simple pallete. This was eventually applied to all company assets.
